Registering new car mid month and road tax - brum

Sorry if this one's been asked before.

I know a new car 1st registered can be taxed for 12 months + 1 week and I'm pretty sure I've bought new cars in the past with 12months + 2 weeks tax.

Can a new registration have 12month + 3 weeks?

You can register a new vehicle to start on the 10th,17th or 24th of the preceding month plus 12 months.

Answered my own question!!

Don't rely on the dealer to do it automatically - most will but some you need to specifically ask/tell otherwise you just get 12 months from the start of the month, so losing part of the month.
