Hi,

I've recently purchased a 10 plate Honda Jazz 1.4 from a Honda garage and have been offered a deal for servicing the car. They are proposing £500 for 4 years servicing or £ 550 for 5 years. Unlike my previous Honda, which had to be serviced every 12000 miles or 12 months, the on board computer would indicate when a service is due. I am an Advanced Driver (female) and I do approx 11000 miles a year. I live in the country but commute to work using both city roads and motorways. Does the servicing schedule represent a good deal?

Hello, Lisa £550 for five years servicing not a bad deal in my opinion if you keep the car.

Given inflation on oil and related products is likely to be well in excess of RPI, and a basics service can rarely cost under £100, bite their hands off for 5 years..

IF you intend to keep the car that long.. (Is it transferable if you sell the car?)

If you cover no more than 100 miles per day and have easy access to a charging point at home or work, then an EV is ideal for you.
