I've never polished/waxed my car in the 6 years I've had it, and the yellow paint is starting to fade a little. 3 questions.

1) I'll be going to Halfords on Monday, what do you advise me to buy in order to restore some of the shine?

2) What's the difference between polishing and waxing? (and should I do both?)

3) How do you polish a car? (do you apply a bit of the white product onto a small section, rub it in, let it dry and wash it away?)

Any help / suggestions (of car maintenance clips maybe) greatly appreciated.
