Interesting Renamel Car Badge - Galaxy

A friend of mine has recently purchased an interesting Renamel Car Badge. There are photographs of the badge, together with the information that's known so far, here:

I thought that I would post a link on the HJ Forum to ask whether anyone here knows anything about the manufacturers, Renamel (AID) Ltd, or anything about this particular badge itself. There is more information, and some questions, given in the above link.

It is believed that they manufactured badges for a wide variety of clubs and organisations, sometimes in relatively small qauantities, and their products were sold by various outlets, including Halfords. It's believed they are no longer trading.

Perhaps if anyone used to work for Renamel they might possibly be able to offer further information.

I think you'll find the missing letters are - r a p - and that the crude logic of the nanny filter is causing the problem.
