ford focus 1.8 duratec, mk2 - creaking front doors - starfield

i have got a creaking front door problem (both of them). it happens when they are open wide. i have tried spraying some silicone grease but in vain. anybody got any clues what it may be or how it can be resolved

I use a couple of drops of engine oil on hinges and doorstraps.(You might try a thinner, more penetrative oil to start with)

I think garages just use white grease so that it can be seen that it`s been done.

i have used silicon spray. on leaving the can, it is as penetrating as WD40 abd solidifies afterwards
