When I take the key out of the ignition the engine warning light and oil light come on and do not go away. They are not on when the engine is on. I have checked oil and think it may have something to do with the ECU?

have you made sure the ecu is fitted securly?
i would be interested if you find the cause as this sounds like a common problem waiting to happen

Yeah it has had a new ECU fitted within the last 3 years and is secure. It is under the bonnet right?
Is there anyway i can reset it? I dont want a flat battery in the morning.

there is an earth on the throttle body check this is tight too
you cant reset them like old stuff but i would certainly disconnect the battery till problem solved

Hi so i just reset the battery and turned the ignition on and off and they have gone :D
