02 2.0 What have i bought.... - Used bmw owner
Just bought a series 3 bmw 1.8 coupe.Just interested to know if its an e46. Also what size alloys should it have not sure whether they are original.

I looked at that but still was unsure whether the car was e46 or e36

You definitely have an E 46.A compact is a hatch back with round headlights.A coupe has a boot with rectangular(ish) headlights.As for the wheels ,there are a million and one types of alloys for these.The E36 model finished around 1998.hth
