04 2.0 Starting and steering problem. - robbycolm
My Vectra 2.0 LSd it won't start without jump starting it and when it's running i have very heavy steering, it sounds as if it has a slight misfire and it has a steering wheel icon with an exclamation mark in the control indicator.
Can you help me PLZ??

Do I take it the engine won't turn over without the assistance of another battery? If so, then the battery could well be on its way out, or you have a duff alternator - not an uncommon problem, re alternator.

Either way, you need to have both the battery and alternator tested.

The PAS pump on these is electrically powered. A failed alternator or duff battery will cause PAS related problems.
