Fiat Punto diesel - Crinkly Dave
I have just bought one for daughter. I know they aren't the best diesels, but the price seemed OK for its condition & many new parts and year, even allowing for the previous owner only changing the oil annually/10K using semisynthetic instead of 4½K.
To be honest, I think the colour and microdisc player were highest in my daughter's priorities.
Anyway, as usual I immediately changed all the fluids, including engine oil, which seemed to get black very quick. Now I have the manual I realise that although the engine's first fill is 5.3litre you can only drain 4.8litre out, no matter how much I tilt it and how long I leave it to drain.
Anyone any experience/ideas how to get the last pint out? (Suggestions like "you should have bought a 106 are not appreciated!)
