00 1.9 Steam coming from under the bonnet. - jmc007
Just got a plug core replaced as steam was coming from the engine. A pinhole was found in it. There still seems to be some steam coming through the grid on the bonnet. Could be possibly caused by the cold weather. Any thoughts ?

Maybe, but keep an eye on the coolant level.

Possibly there is residual coolant on the engine from the core plug being changed?

I would open the bonnet and try to see where it is coming from. And as said keep a close eye on coolant levels.
