96 2.0 Water hose/head gasket - rickylcf
I was driving my car yesterday when i noticed steam/smoke seaping through the bonnet. I pulled over & lifted the bonnet up & smoke/steam was coming out big time. I then looked under the car & water was leaking out from somewhere maybe the water pipe or somewhere.

I'm not great with cars as you have probably guessed, but this man came over to have a look & he said it wasnt the head gasket, he said it was just a pipe/hose leak?

I then started the car & drove it for two miles to get it home & it was fine, except for the smoke billowing out of the engine & the leak.

Any help & how much this will cost would be greatly appreciated?

Its a 306 xsi model on the N plate.

Also my alarm doesn't work but that has never worked!

Well; if it didn't have a blown head gasket to start with - it will now.....
