When I put the new bulb in initially the light worked but now it's gone out.
I've tried playing about with the black plastic casing and on it comes only for it to go out again.
Wiring problem possibly?
Or could it be a fuse?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could be the multiplug on the bulb. Had a recent problem with a Sunny. 'Tweeking' the spades on the bulb slightly to ensure a tighter fit fixed it.
All to do with different bulb manufacturers making different thickness spades.

Intermittent light means intermittent connection, usually. Could be dirty or loose contacts anywhere in the circuit.. Intermittent could mean a loose fuse but not a blown one.
