Mondeo Mk3 Bonnet Lock Problem - Yoby
Hi, lately I have had a bit of a problem with the bonnet needing a few attempts to shut properly. It is as if the final locking mechanism is not quite engaging every time. I have to give the key opener a few twiddles backwards and forwards and then it usually engages. It seems to be getting a little worse gradually. Any thoughts or does it look like I need a new mechanism? I have greased, wd40'd and generally pushed and pressed ....... but still no joy!
