speedometer on corsa - pinky_786
my speedometer on my corsa 2001 stopped working and the steering felt very heavy. took it to the garage. iv got cover with the aa for the parts and labour but it doesnt cover the speedometer and i dont want to end up getting ripped off by the garage. any ideas how much it could cost.

No idea how much it will cost, but it's a known problem apparantly.

Depending on your mechanical knowledge, you *may* be able to fix it yourself if you can remove the speedo housing to access the connector.

I wouldn't have said that a garage would take more than ½ to ¾ hour to fix.
