No Claims Bonus - budu
For several years, my motor insurer has sent me a statement of the NCB I am entitled to, along with the renewal notice. Not this year. When questioned, they said they would send it when they received my renewal premium, or would make it known to a new insurer if I wanted to change. They would not say why.

Is this legal? It looks to me like a way of ensuring repeat business.

My guess is that they may want to save on admin costs, so they've effected a change in company policy.

If you do change to a new insurer explain this to them, and if they're not happy with it then pursue it with the old insurer. Until then I wouldn't worry unduly.
