Saxo/AX cyl head.Remove and re-fit. - Quinny
As a matter of urgency,I need to know how to remove and re-fit the cylinder head on my 1.1 ohc Saxo engined,AX autograss car.

Any information on the timing of the cam, although not essential as it will be done on the rolling road, would be most welcome as well.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, pronto, then post or mail me:kquinn1964@tiscali.co.uk.

Thanks.

Ken.

I wonder where you got that from?.Cam timing has to be aligned with crankshaft when fitting either cam belt or timing chain. It cant be done on rolling road.Apart from. I cant answer your question. But if timing chain OHV only adjustment needed is tappets

Best bet is to buy the haynes manual for the car the engine came from. This will tell you how to time it, and also give torque figures for the headbolts, and whether the headbolts need replacing.
