I have in the past sucessfully repaire single elements using conductive paint. Is it possible to sucessfully refix a spade connector to the rear screen???? using conductive epoxy or is the resistance too high for the high current consumption???

peter,
Conductive epoxy can conduct quite high currents so may be suitable. However it all depends on the conductivity of the epoxy. Aerospace conductive epoxy is used for this type of application (they have heated screens good for -60degC), but has a very high silver content, >50% from memory and is very expensive. To check your epoxy, spread a thin 5mm wide layer on a suitable substrate and measure its resistance for a given length. You need this to be as close to zero as possible.
