Mondeo vibration - russbif
My '95 Mondeo TD suffers from a vibration around 65mph in 5th.
I think this is something to do with engine mounts, but would appreciate any advice.

if it's coming through steering wheel it's possibly front wheel balancing,

go to a fast fitter get all four wheels balanced also get 4wheel tracking done if they have the facilites, get them to check each wheel to see if they have been buckled and get them to check front wishbones aren't shot (a notorious mondeo fault)

It is not a wheel balance problem, if I lift off the throttle the the vibration goes, it is definitely engine related, could it be injection timing ??

Could be wrong but would be inclined to check out drive shafts. Under power could be out of balance foot off accelerator not under as much torque so balance out.
