can any one give me an idiots guide to changing a heater matrix on a 89 mk2 golf gti?

Took some finding but I knew I had seen it somewhere!

Presumably your matrix has already been changed (or bypass fitted) under VW recall. They were still doing them for free about 18 months ago! Do a search on this site for more info.

MK2 Golf is pretty easy to change the heater matrix, in my experience from a few years back allow a day to do it.
