Pure idiocy. Lost count of the number of times I mentally prepared myself for a crash. How it didn\'t happen is beyond me.

That guy has got some balls. No brain mind you. I reckon he's probably dead by now.

Did you spot how low his brake fluid is, too?
|
I'm not on broadband - is it the one from German TV round the Paris ring road?? if so, yes, the rider is no more.
Beats sitting in traffic jams though ;-)
|
No it's not the one with that guy doing the Peripherique in Paris. This is a Sunday Drive compared to that, doesn't get above 80 by the looks of it (although mostly on the back wheel)
p.s. the brake fluid is up the the marker, where it should be.

I,m suprised the motorcycle Police rider (about half way through) did not give chase, however the customers pizza was still hot and delivered within the time limit ;¬)

Or rather, would have been delivered within the time limit had it not fallen off during one of the wheelies....

The rider is crazy and not very good either, but he does have very large cojones!
Anyone else watched 'Rendevous'? It's the Ferrari across Paris at high speed film. Again, crazy, dangerous, stupid, but great to watch.

Very interesting and quite enjoyable buzz - having had a m/c licence for 39 years and worked once as a courier in London for 5 months I can say in some ways its really is not that far removed from couriers I have known.
At least he seemed to stop at red lights and slowed down for pedestrian crossings.Diving between traffic is part of life on a motorcycle in any big city. His high speed ( max 80 kph not mph) back wheel riding was only when the road ahead was completely clear.
He had an excellent rider awareness and anticipation of potential problems like pedestrians and cross traffic but I certainly would not have dived down the side of the articulated bus/ tram as he did. His worst problems were the other smaller bikes.
Stupid of course and one day he'll meet his maker , probably sooner rather than later.
