Not sure whether this is 'technical' or not.
Local factors have 5 litre containers of 'Ankor Wax', a waxy rustproofing coating made by Morris Lubricants. Only just over £13, so cheaper than Waxoyl (which I'm unconvinced about, anyway). Apparently its used by farmers to rustproof tractors and combines - so you'd expect it to work.
Has anyone used Ankor Wax to rustproof a car? A websearch brings up nothing of any relevance on this stuff.
