Hi,

I have an M reg Peugeot 306 and the alarm is too sensitive.

When I set the alarm, a few minutes later the alarm goes off.

Is there anything I can do so its not so sensitive.

My L-reg 306's alarm goes off randomly, though it seems to happen more often when the car is wet. Quite often the false alarm occurs within 2 - 3 minutes of leaving the car, but not always.

I've given up on it and never set the alarm these days. I lock and double-lock the car with the key, and only use the remote to unlock.

Works for me.

Its a common problem with peugeot alarms when they get to that age,it could cost £50 to fix or £300.
