BMW 3 Series Touring E91 - Help please!!!! - Warwick Humble

Hi everyone

I have a 2009 BMW E91

The rear wiper spindle is completely seized through the glass and does not rotate the wiper nor move at all

I have tried everything, brute force, penetrating oil and now release fluid but nothing is shifting it

I need to remove the shaft to lubricate with grease clean up and replace

I have photos but cannot post on here?

I’ll assume you are trying to free it off with the glass part open. If it is not moving , then gentle heat may be an option. Find a garage with an induction heater gun.

If this is anything like the previous model, when the spindle seizes, they all do that eventually sir, the worm drive teeth in the wiper motor mechanism get chewed up.

The motor is fine, I've shut the mechanism to watch the motor work independently while the glass is up
