Any one out there know the specified timing intervals for cambelt changes on Mondeo Endura de engines in terms of mileage and years.

Up to 1996- 40000 or 5years, 1996-2002 70000 or 5 years. Change times for the injection pump belt vary but I would change it at the same time anyway as it puts little extra time on the job. Use only Ford parts and change tensioners and guide rollers. Ford reduce the time for belt changes to 40000 miles under adverse conditions (short journeys, stop-start) but in my book I would replace at 36000 miles or 3 years under all circumstances. Interestingly I noted on a Vauxhall cambelt box that they have a shelf life of only 5 years and that is stationary in a sealed box!
