Quite fancy a CRV but I cannot get any replies about real time MPG on the petrol, anybody got any ideas when the Diesel is due out, I have heard it's about early 2004, anybody able to narrow it down any further? If it's anything like VW's Touran we're still waiting when it was supposed to be Autumn 2002.

I average 30+ mpg in a 2002 CR-V auto. I think that the auto is higher geared than the manual, thus for good motorway mpg and relaxed town driving - I would try the Auto.
Also according to which mags you read, the diesel is due sometime in 2004.
