Just means they sell and fit Bosch products and have possibly been inspected by someone from Bosch.
As usual, another misinformed opinion.
As a former employee in a Bosch service centre, I can state that it's not just a case of them selling and fitting Bosch parts. It goes much deeper than that in as much that the technicians, service advisors and even parts advisors are trained to a high standard in their respective fields. The technical backup from Bosch is second only to franchised main dealers (in some cases, better) going from my experiences.
All Bosch service centres have to comply to a strict code of practice which has been approved by the Trading Standards Institute so no, it's not just a simple case of being inspected by a bod from Bosch. The centres are regularly audited and have mystery shoppers sent out to check that the standards set out by Bosch are being adhered to. If not, the centre is liable to fines, disciplinary action or being struck off.The OP has had a good experience from a garage and then feels the need to share that on the forum. This is not the norm as most comments regarding the motor trade are quite the opposite and we don't need the negative, narrow minded comments from posters who either have no idea what the certification of a tightly regulated garage entails, or had a bad experience from a possibly non regulated garage 20 years ago and feels the need to tar everyone with the same brush.
