Vauxhall Astra - Albany assistance ltd - shah
Hello guys and gals need help with this company whom I hired car when I met with an accident in 2010 and my insurance company at that time Zurich told me that they have settled with Albany assistance for car hire fees (£1798) but now on 17th march received letter from Albany asking for that amount as they are saying I m liable for the charges and now going to start legal proceedings on me, I m with a different insurance company now and the car with which I was involved in accident is been scrapped so plz help me out will be very grateful for all advice. Have been spending sleepless night and too much stress now what to do?

What did Zurich tell you when you contacted them?

OP doesn't say he has has contacted them. A copy of " Zurich told me that they have settled with Albany assistance for car hire fees " should keep Albany quiet! 4 years seems a long time to wait to progress a 4 figure debt too!
