Motor Trade changes - Underwoods, Skoda, Kia, Mazda, Vauxhall closing - _

Bombshell locally as dealership loses all franchises.

Kia will open with Glyn Hopkin.

Mazda will use same site, but with John Banks who will also have Honda cars and Motorcycles on the site of the old Kia/Mazda/Vauxhall site.

Vx are axing about 40% of outlets IIRC

Peter Vardy closed all their Vx outlets about 2 years ago - 2nd hand only and expanding the Carz Brand.

Ford are along the same lines in looking to shut smaller outlets.

Toyota axed Arnold Clark, largest UK dealer, from the dominant dealer in Scotland at least 6/7 outlets -- AC has no Toyota and just 1 x Honda having been axed in favour of other chains.
