Just a note to say how much I have enjoyed the forum this past year, and of course previously too.

I won't be around for a week or two and simply want to wish all my fellow contributors a very merry christmas and happy new year.

Many thanks to everyone for the civilised discussions we've had, and I hope the forum has been useful to those who've needed it.

A very happy Christmas (merry if you're not driving!) and all the best for 2017. There's a lot wrong with this world, but - having played the organ for two carol services in Dorset villages and with two more to go - I'm equally sure that there's a lot right with it too.
