The catalytic converter light keeps coming on since the emissions fix - do Volkswagen need to repair it?

I have a Volkswagen Tiguan and, since the recall, the car has had to go back to Volkswagen three times because the catalytic converter warning yellow light keeps coming up. Car has been with Volkswagen for two weeks and still no answer to the problem. Please advice.

The garage that did the fix is obliged to sort this out. Problems usually occur if the car is badly maintained, high mileage or is used for a lot of short runs or stop/start driving. But Volkswagen Group has assured owners that it will look favourably on sorting out all post fix problems on cars up to 160,000 miles.
