Are Autogreen tyres any good?
Have you a view of Autogreen tyres? We're thinking of a set for my wife's Hyundai Ix20, mostly local use, very occasional 100 mile motorway travel.

As with many things in life, when it comes to tyres you get what you pay for, so while budget tyres will meet the required EU legislation and be legal, they are unlikely to offer the same level of performance as more established brands. The contact patch of a typical tyre is no bigger than the size of your palm and is the only physical connection between your car and the road, so it is a matter of balancing the financial cost against your own peace of mind.
