the fault is when the car is unlocked the rear wiper satarts wiping also it will start working when driving and only stops when the wiper settles in the centre of the screen instead of the rest position can anyone help

PSA cars did this and other similar wiper quirks, usually a single sweep, quite often when brand new in delivery (transit) mode, before the main fuse (yellow?) was put in, had to remember to free the wipers if frozen to the screen before opening up.

It might be worth checking the main fuse, and disconnecting the battery for a while to allow everything to reset.....don't do it on my say so though, wait till someone comes along that has a clue what they are doing...;)

It could be the wiring loom between the body and rear tailgate is damaged.
A safety recall is in place. If your VIN is outside the range listed below, contact the dealer as it's a safety issue.

The wiring not only affects the boot lock, but also all the rear lights and the wiper.

The wiring loom to the tailgate may have been routed incorrectly. This could cause damage to the wiring and, amongst other things, the boot to open inadvertently.
