I am confused. I thought this car was being discontinued - yet the website seems to offer virtually all models. Can anyone elucidate on this?

They will tell you that parts won't be a problem - but they could be in the future, particularly if you intend keeping the car for some time.
My elder daughter turned down most superminis on the grounds of ugliness (her perception), but thought seriously about one of these. Most road tests agree that they look better then they drive. In the end she is as delighted with her second 1.3 Yaris as she was wity her first. You might look at a Yaris as an alternative.
There is now some good competition (Clio, Corsa, Punto) but the Yaris seems that much nippier. Skoda Fabia is still great albeit a little bigger; a new model is I thin coming next year.

I think the forfour's are essentially the same as the Mitsubishi Colt. The Colt generally isn't quite as good, but it's cheaper and probably won't be far off. It might be worth looking at a Colt if they still make them?

Yeah right, perhaps thats why vitually every review that compares the two says the colt is better.

Thanks everyone - think I am going to return to my original idea of getting a mini. But not until I have had my drive re-engineered so it can get down the drive and into the garage without scraping its bottom!
