On sale: Summer

Honda is poised to capitalise on the appetite for small crossover cars with the new HR-V. It's based on the next Honda Jazz, which will also appear in 2015, and is expected to be available with a fuel-saving petrol-electric hybrid version. It will be trying to atract attention among other compact crossover models such as the Nissan Juke and Vauxhall Mokka.
