  I'm asking this purely out of genuine interest. We have a fleet of new automatic Ford Transits at work. They're unreliable as hell, but that's a different story. Anyway, they are limited to 62 MPH from factory (there's a Ford sticker in the windscreen) and the sat nav confirms 62 MPH when flat out on a motorway.

  Hello, I am looking at buying a second hand cars, but I am not very knowledgeable about vehicle technical matters. I have recently viewed a 2011 diesel Ford Fiesta and a 2012 diesel Peugeot 308 and I noticed something in common with both of them, which didn't seem normal to me. They both seemed to have part of the engine covered in a knobbled casing which didn't look quite right.

  Hi! First of all, pardon my eglish. It.s not my first language.   I own a Ford Focus from 2008, with the dv6 engine that has 80kw. A while back I started hearing some strange noises from the engine. These noises are similar to what you hear on a car with a faulty DMF, a ratle wich apear aywhere from 1200rpm  and disapears just when reaching aprox 1700-1800rpm.

  Hi New to this forum Looking for some advice I have a 2003 Ford Fiesta 1.3 petrol 60k and I noticed yesterday there is significant rattle coming from the engine when I turn the car off. Car starts and drives normal but does have a tapping noise when at idle but that has been there for a year and hasn't given me any problems but when I brought the car back from the garage yesterday because car wouldn't turn over had the garage check out starter motor which was fine turned out to be blown fuse but when I got back I heard a rattling/grind noise coming from engine every time I turn the car off Confused on what this is Any help would be much appreciated Many Thanks Zeb

  I've followed the instructions to pair my phone on SYNC and after connecting a few seconds it drops connection. My phone is on the Ford list to work with it. It updates regularly. The Bluetooth is on and connects successfully. What I have read is that some older Android phones require a 4 digit pin instead of the default 6. The advice I've seen to obtain a 4 digit pin is to do the usual pairing then when the 6 digit pin displays on the screen you hit the ">>" button on the steering wheel, and this should show a 4 digit pin instead.

  Hey, wondered if someone could help me. I have my MOT booked in tomorrow on my V reg 1.8 Ford Focus One of the reg plate lights was out so I pulled the cover down to replace it, stupidly with the lights on. Saw a spark and a fizzle and they went off. At the same time the beep beep signal that the door was open with lights still on also went off, and so did the rear lights.

  Hello! I'm thinking of buying a 2009 Ford Focus 1.6 petrol TI-VCT. A few days ago I got the chance to ride in a friend's 2007 Focus (pre facelift). I was very surprised by the sheer amount of tyre/wind noise that occured at speeds no higher than 55 miles/hour.
