  I suspect after this the car will keep going for another 4 years with routine maintenance ? or Sell or part ex the honda and buy, say, a 5/6 year old ford focus or mondeo diesel. My budget would be £2500 plus whatever I get for the Honda. The 'new' car would then be kept for 3 to 4 years. My current mileage is around 12,000 a year. I'm not tunnel visioned into ford.

  We could afford a MK 2 probably 2011 vintage and fancied a Cooper with the 122bhp 1.6 petrol engine. Now, I know that the more powerful 1.6 THP engine in the Cooper S is a 'no no' having received sound advice on here once when I was thinking about buying a suspiciously cheap Pug 508 with the same lump.   Whatto HJ Got a weird one here. Clicking noise from front o/s driveshaft CV joint - typical clicking of a worn CV. On closer inspection however, it's a brand new driveshaft. I have 3 other Clio's, a 2001 and two 2000's, ( all with known good condition drveshafts ) so I tried both their driveshafts in the problem car to no avail: clicking CV as before even though the driveshafts I used were of known good condition.

  Hi I shall try and be as brief and succinct as poss! My o/s indicator at the back does not work at all. All other lights etc work on the car. Garage has told me I need new ECU as they can detect a signal going to the ECU but there does not appear to be any output telling the indicator to flash.
