• Peugeot Partner Tepee - Gearbox issue? 22 Nov 2015 (Forum)
  I drive a Peugeot Partner Tepee 1.6 e-Hdi with the EGC automated manual gearbox. Heading home from work last night, i came onto a dual carriageway and accelerated from 30mph. As i hit 6th gear, the car suddenly went into neutral and was revving it's nuts off.

  I have replaced the ageing cassette player (clarion pu9971a) in my peugeot 106 with a cd player (clarion pu2294a) from a 306. Everything works ok except for one thing. When you turn the ignition off and turn it back on again the player has lost all the memory and you have to input the code again.

  Hi all, I have a 2003 model Peugoet 307 SW 1.6 petrol. It has been a long time that the brake fluid hasn't been changed. I have two peugeots and I have done all the necessary maintenance jobs by myself so far. So I am guessing that I can also replace the brake fluid. I have already bought a bottle of genuine brake fluid for the car but I need some guidlines about how to properly replace it.

  Hi, I've just bought a Peugeot  306 1.9 TDi, which is in surprisingly good condition. I drove it 80 miles to home, enjoyable, but maybe just a little lacking on grunt on hills. I guestimate it used about 2 gallons. But on starting up the following day, lots of smoke and really lumpy tickover, but smoothed out when revs lifted slightly.

  I have a Peugeot 308 (2010), that I have had from new.  For the last two years, I have been experiencing an intermittant fault involving power loss when I have been pulling away.  The car creeps forward for approx 2-3 seconds then takes off at normal speed.

  Hello, I wonder if anyone could shed some light on my problem.  I have a Peugeot 306 Roadster/Cab 2.0L a strange this happend the other day when accelerating to overtake at around 75mph it suddenly loss power and speed dropped to 60mph (bit scary) and then it sped up again, this has happened twice now.

  Hi guys, i drive a peugeot 306 1999 which i bought in the summer time, since it's become winter (rain etc) whenever i drive the car longer than 10 minutes steam starts rising from below me and fogs up the whole windscreen (impossible to drive) and is like a sauna inside.

  My Peugeot 107 has a really annoying issue at the moment. Everytime I touch the clutch (only has to be lightly) the is a high-pitched squeal/whistle. As soon as I depress the clutch the noise stops. When I release the clutch it is fine until it is fully released and I have my foot lightly on the clutch pedal - the noise is there again.

  I have a 2002 peugeot 406 executive, the airbag warning light comes on when the car is started, not all the time but most of the times, and it displays airbag fault on the middle display where the radio is found, and then that message goes away what bothers me is the light on the instrument cluster which wont go away.

  Hi, my stepmum drives a 1999 Peugeot 206 1.9D which has a faulty indicator stalk. Sometimes the indicators come on when she switches on the ignition and sometimes all the indicators flash when she indicates left. I said i would source a replacement stalk for her from a breakers or off ebay but the mechanic that she has used for years and trusts has told her a second hand stalk is of no use as they need to be replaced as a whole unit which needs to be coded for the immobilser.

  I've just helped my son to buy his 1st car. Peugeot 106 independence 1.1 2000 W reg 43k miles (private sale), paid £1200. The seller owned it 4-5 years from 25kmiles - 43k miles and said it had been taken care of etc, but has since said the cam belt was not changed (it might have been by the previous owner).

  Hello What would be the approximate regional variation for price. For instance a 2003 Peugeot 307 HDI Rapier 53k, FSH advertised at £3500 in Manchester is valued at ? in my locality of Southampton. Ongoing settlement claim with insurance company forces this question. Also any tips on dealing with the insurance company would also be most helpful, have had 2 offers highest being £3600 (minus excess) to date, next level is complaint.

  Does anybody know if it is possible to recode a second hand ECU for a Peugeot 607 2.2HDi, I know when they are new they have to be coded to the car, does anyone know is this can this be redone on a second hand unit or is it one of those things that once done can't be changed?

  I'm not complaining that this part is needed as the car is almost 10 years old, but the retail price (excluding VAT) is £21.67! The kind man in the Peugeot dealership gave me 8% discount after much grovelling, (the part is NOT available via GSF etc.), but this must be one of the biggest rip-off's I've ever come across.

  What are the main differences between the 90 and 110, eg intercooler & ecu remapping and what are the possibilities of a competent diy upgrade. I would consider using my 110hdi as a doner vehicle. Also, what year did peugeot introduce the FAP as I want a pre Fap model!

  Ive had this car from new1.4 206 LX peugeot and just recently an intermitant fault has developed.When stopping at lights or junctions the engine just cuts out .It may do it a few times on a 10 mile journey or not at all.It dos'nt matter if the engines hot or cold.When it happens it starts straight away after, whether bump start or key.It is not missing at all through the range of driving speeds and the rev counter dos'nt vary.IT never cuts out whilst driving or any loss of power Help!

  i have got a peugeot 206 cc and the clutch bites right at the very top!! the pedal is nearly fully up before you feel the bite! i was just wondering if this was normal for whats classed as a sports car, because none of my other standard cars have bitten so far up, and i am unsure if its right.

  1997 Peugeot 306 turbo D I a, losing oil a fair amount and I am having to top up about once a week. it seems to be worse for some reason on shorter journeys. When I travel for an hour+ there seems to be less of a leak (very confused).

  hi all stranded in Ibiza, lost my keys somewhere (in one of 4 strip bars....) got new keys (non plip type but transponder) from peugeot but need to know if there is a programming procedure i can follow or if i really do have to truck the car to the dealer (rather a nightmare, both the dealer and the tow truck guys!) anyone who can sort me out on this one gets a paid night out on the tiles in San Antonio (but this time i'lll leave the keys at home!)

  Hi There, My friend has a L plate peugeot 306 its a 1.4 petrol enigine, basically his cambelt has snapped and i was wondering if anyone would know if the valves would definately touch i know some cars do and some dont but i dont know much about this one!
