Peugeot Partner Tepee - Gearbox issue? - tjbantam

I drive a Peugeot Partner Tepee 1.6 e-Hdi with the EGC automated manual gearbox.

Heading home from work last night, i came onto a dual carriageway and accelerated from 30mph.

As i hit 6th gear, the car suddenly went into neutral and was revving it's nuts off.

A quick click of the upshift paddle behind the steering wheel and it went back into 6th and carried on as if nothing had happened. No further problems getting home or getting to work today.

Is this a quirk of the transmission or should i be getting worried?

The car is a 63 plate with less than 18,000 miles on the clock.

Not familiar with EGS but I have same car with Cit badge and manual. I've occasionly caught the radio control with a stray digit an sent myself to Radio 3 insteadd of 2. Is it possible you've done something similar with a paddle?

If it's a 63 then presumably still under warranty so get it looked at if it happens again. .
