  I  am a motortrader who entered a very nice  2004 volvo v70 turbo diesel estate into my local motor auction this car was vanderlized whilst in there care  i spoke to auction manager Ian Carter  who  turned around and told me to claim on my traders insurance for the damage to its bodywork ,I asked  why should i do that when its not my fault  and your company were obliged to look after my goods and that i would consult a solictor in the morning   his reply was  to take the  f.......g car out before he WOULD SCRATCH IT EVEN MORE and kick the s...t  out of it  AND told  me  f...k off and that the car was not there responsibilty even though it had been entererd into there auction that nite... damage to paintwork is around £750 ....I have been a VERY  loyal customer for 30 years and spent £00000 s . and never caused any problems......WHAT WOULD YOU DO ?????

  ok so here's the deal, my 2002 volvo s60 has been having some intermittent problems with the passenger door window and door lock. Usually the door will lock and unlock ok when the window stops working. This happens sometimes when the passenger window is lowered all the way with the auto down on the door switch.

  Well everyone after debating what to buy http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/forum/post/index.htm?f=2&t=66924 I brought a white E-reg Volvo 480 with 83k. £650 plus 12 months tax @£180 Driving it home was a bit scary at first being that I had to pick it up in North Greater London just before rush hour & had to stop at Borhamwood DVLA office to apply for a new logbook, but apart from that it drove brilliantly on the M25 & M40.

  Morning all, Having purchased a mint condition 96P Volvo 960 3.0 CD last week, some helpful person decided to smash into the back of it in the Mersey Tunnel this morning. Damage is not massive (not to my car anyway, the Focus has certainly seen better days!)
• Filled up Diesel Volvo S40 with Petrol 18 May 2007 (Forum)
  Now I'm not 100% but last night I filled up my car (Volvo S40 TD) at the nearby BP garage. It had around 10 litre diesel in it and I poured in another 30 litre (of diesel I hope now). I'm quite sure I filled it up with diesel but I'm not entirely sure. Last night I drove car back home which was around half a mile and it was fine but this morning after driving it for 10 minutes or so car seemed to get a little bit funny, jerking a bit.

  just had the RAC call me and tell me about my volvo quite a long list here Essential things 1) Front headlight blown - gonna be sorted by dealer 2) Rear pads and disks almost gone - gonna be repaired by dealer 3) Rear tyres need replacing - replaced by dealer Non essential 4) stone chips on windscreen - gonna be repaired 5) All doors seals slightly damaged or insecure - gonna be repaired but not replaced anyone know how much replacements cost?

  Hi All, Here's a strange problem I have with a 1987 Volvo 340 1.7 GLE that was given to me a couple of years ago. The car suffers from the usual probelms with this model that are well-documented on this site (erratic tickover, moisture getting in distributor cap etc), but this particular example has an interesting extra problem: when straightening up after turning right, the engine stumbles momentarily (2-3 seconds) as though suffering from fuel starvation.
