02 1.6 passenger door lock and window problem - rdstamps
ok so here's the deal, my 2002 volvo s60 has been having some intermittent problems with the passenger door window and door lock. Usually the door will lock and unlock ok when the window stops working.
This happens sometimes when the passenger window is lowered all the way with the auto down on the door switch. Sometimes the whole door goes dead except for the alarm. No door lock, no window, and no thermometer on the dash. Tonight, my drunk passenger wouldn't leave the pink fluffy dice window switch alone and it was a fight to keep the window up. Then, for a while I could get the window back up only by holding the button up on the driver's switch, and as soon as I let go of the button it would wait a few seconds and go all the way back down. It did this for a while and then went completely dead...stuck about an inch from closed. Also, that's when the temperature indicator in the gauges stopped working. Please help....it's raining.
