V70 Saab 9-5 Octavia - Volvo V70 vs Saab 9-5 vs Skoda Octavia Estates - logger

I have been looking for a reliable cheap load lugger around £1000 and heard great things about the V70 (petrol and diesel ), Saab 9-5 and Octavia estates

Anyone have experiences of these estates.

I do under 8k miles a year so petrol is fine unless they should be avoided. I also like to drive so dont mind going for turbo versions..

They're all good load carriers, although the V70 is better for carrying furniture. The Saab 95 is a posh version of the Vauxhall Vectra and although Saab are out of production, there is no spares problem, and the seats are excellent.

Have a look when you're driving about and see what's still kicking around. I see a good number of V70s going strong, some really quite old indeed.
