The latest SMMT car sales figures were released today, placing the unique Qashqai crossover model in ninth place in the top sellers list with a total of 2,629 buyers taking delivery in May.

  Scrappage registrations pass through the 250,000 mark 9 Dec 2009 (News)
  The SMMT has confirmed that 250,000 cars have been registered under the scrappage scheme, helping more than quarter of a million people out of ten-year-old cars into brand new ones. Latest figures show that scrappage orders accounted for 21.6 per cent of all registrations in November, with superminis taking 72 per cent of all registrations under the scheme.

  It went for just £6,850. As you would expect, 4x4s are on the floor with a 3-year-old XC90 D5 auto selling for £12,900 and an ML279CDI for £10,400. But here and there proper money was still being paid for anything with a market, such as £12,250 for a year old Honda Civic Hybrid and a high £8,100 for 3-year-old Golf TDI DSG.
