• Mazda 6 Turbo Diesel - Mazda 6 Turbo 26 Aug 2010 (Forum)
  I have a Mazda 6 Turbo on a 54 plate with 79K on the clock. I've only had the car approx 7 weeks and have had to return to the garage i bought it from (thankfully under warranty) The problems started with a very high pitched "whirring" sound, almost like a siren which i now understand was the faulty turbo.

  I've fixed many problems with my cars over the years but, frustratingly, there doesn't seem to be a Haynes Manual for the 6. Does anyone have any experience of dodgy Mazda 6 electric windows or know if they are easy to fix ? If so, what parts do you think I would need ? Thanks.

  Picked up a new Mazda 6 2.5 Sport 2 weeks ago. Love the car but I have a couple of gripes that I was wondering if anybody else had encountered. First frosty morning this week, I defrosted the rear window and the separate top section of the heated rear window doesn't work.

  I have a 2015 Mazda 5 estate riding on 225/45 R19 tyres. Recently I've noticed what seems like excessive tyre noise and vibration and am wondering if alignment/tracking will help with this. I have had a few bumps against high pavements as well as driving through some poor quality roads with large potholes.

  Hi need urgent advise, car is making a rattle vibration from cold, it's like a metalic noise. Whole engine shakes. I have done a video to show Mazda and they recreated the issues as well. It has been with Mazda JCT600 in Leeds for almost a week whilst they wait to hear back from Mazda Technical. Please see the youtube video, any advise is greatly appriciated.

  DPF light flashing - you had your car serviced by non Mazda dealer right! The flashing DPF is the service interval reminder. it does not indicate a problem with the DPF .   I know it is early in the cars life but has anyone compared or seen any mention of a comparison between the new Mazda 3 fitted with 16" and 18" wheels? I am more interested in ride quality than ultimate handling. I have driven the Sport fitted with 18" wheels and while the ride seemed ok, I am wondering whether the "lesser" models fitted with 16" wheels have a noticeably better ride.

  I have a Mazda Xedos 9 that has started to have an over heating problem. The car starts and runs fine until you get stuck in traffic, the temperate gauge goes up just passed the half way mark and the electric fans cut in ok but, then steam starts coming out of the front of the radiator.

     Several brokers have them at under £17000 brand new.  Drive the deal has it at £16600, including £1000 discount for using Mazda finance. What should I offer? What can I realistically expect to get it for? Any advice from more seasoned buyers gratefully received.

  i bought a secondhand mazda approved mx5 in jan, in june i had an accident which was deemed my fault the paid for the repair, when it came back it was due for an MOT. The car failed due to worn pads and a 40% imbalance in the front brakes.

  I just rang my insurer to change the car on my policy and to my surprise they said to me they can't cover me and my wife on our new car which is a Mazda 323 TD insurance group 7. According to the chap I had on the other line, the car has very high insurance group so they can't cover anyone under 30 and we both are! I'm just not happy about it. What could I do besides looking for a policy elsewhere.

  I have company 2.2l diesel accord. From October will buy my own car. I went to look at a new diesel accord and compare with Mazda 6 (better price, not quite so refined). Both dealers offered me better deals on 2 litre petrol models. Obviously cost more in petrol, about £400/yr for me but about £3k cheaper to buy. Have I missed something because for private driver doing about 10k miles petrol looks better deal.

  Hi all, This morning, I found the driver's door mirror on my 2003 Mazda 323 hanging off by the motor electrics cable. (Looks like some kid has given it a karate chop - never mind...) The mirror, housing, motor are all fine - it just looks like the plastic joint has snapped right through.

  I have a 2005 mazda 2.3 sport, manual petrol....it used all of its oil in first 9000 miles, when the dealer finally admitted this was not right they replaced the pistons and piston rings.....5000 miles and 4 months later it has used all of its oil again.....has anyone else had this problem?
