I've been driving nearly 30 years and have never once seen a biker tailgating a lorry, until today. On the M4, a bike about a metre from the back end of an artic, couldn't believe me eyes!! Have I led a sheltered life and missed seeing all the bikers doing this or was this a rarity? -
Mitsubishi Lancer - any experience? 1 Jun 2007 (Forum)
The elegance model with leather seats costs £700 more. The equipments offered are generous. Though I'm yet to take a test drive, the spec & price seems attracting. Any one own Lancer here? Heard that Mitsubishi parts are expensive. -

Xsara - lubricate clutch cable 20 Apr 2007 (Forum)
It's approaching 90,000 miles now and "feels" like it needs some grease putting on. Also, it's developed a squeak that's driving me insane. ;-) Car is a 1999 Xsara with the 1.9TD XUD engine, though I'd assume the clutch cable and fitting is identical across the range. Cheers, Dave. -

Best car for £10K 29 Oct 2006 (Forum)
We need to buy a car (at least 1.5 litre), either a Vauxhall, Mazda or Suzuki (Fiat maybe) for roundabouts 10K. We will be doing less than 8,000 miles/yr in it, mainly semi-rural driving. We have a dog so a sort of long-ish hatchback would be better. What car would you recommend? Are Vauxhalls reliable? -
Peugeot 406 Clutch 20 Oct 2006 (Forum)
406 March 2000 1.8 cc petrol 75,000 miles The clutch seems to take up the drive with my foot hardly off the floor. Is this normal or is there a possible fault with the self adjusting system? According to the manual, the clutch release mechanism is a 'push type'. It also says that compensation for wear is taken up by the self-adjusting cable or hydraulic clutch components. -
