  I have a Renault Laguna 1.9dti which will not start on the key but will go when tow started. The engine turns over as normal but wont fire on the key. Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem could be. Any help greatfully appreciated.

  Hi there, Hope someone can help, I have a 2000 Renault Kangoo, which the sidelight bulb in one of the headlights has just failed - I cannot find any logical or easy way to change the bulb - can anyone offer advice please ?

  My Renault Scenic (Y reg/ 2001; 1.6L) has recently started to blow cold air on my feet. However, it blows hot air out of the other vents. The cold air seems to blow irrespective of the direction setting too.

  Hi, i have a renault scenic 1.9dci year 2002 and the car when ticking over is very uneven and shaking the whole car. i put it on the computer and it comes up with diagnostic code 70 pre heater fault.have you please any ideas.

  Strangest thing in the supermarket carpark last night. A Renault MPV was parked up with a web cam (looked like a logitech 'ball' type) bolted to the dash pointing at the driver seat. Is this the next - all be it alittle rought with this example of the next type of in-car security we can expect?

  Dear All, I am driving Renault Scenic RXE 2.0 (1998). I just replaced my remote keys' batteries. Unfortunately the remote central locking don't work at all, even the immobilizer. My car can not be started now. Can anyone help me how to reset or deactivate the immobilizer OR start the car!

  hi im going to purchase a grande scenic on motability. has anyone got one? and have you had any problems? ive never had a renault before so dont know what to expect. ive heard they have bad build quality? we are going for the dynamique 1.6 petrol. im going for test drive on sunday.

  My first time at this so here goes ...... Bought a brand new Renault Scenic from a local car supermarket at good discounted price. Uk spec vehicle which they claim came direct from Renault BUT.... when I ask about the 3 year Renault Assistance breakdown cover that comes with all new Scenics they are claiming this will only apply to cars bought from a main dealer.

   Had car back and the window will go down once and back up - but is then locked from moving for 30 seconds.  Dealer had car back and changed the regulator, but same problem. Car into another Renault dealer at the request of Renault UK and they too diagnosed the regulator and changed it again.  Third regulator and the window still does the same thing. The weird thing is it locks out for exactly 30 seconds.

  Hi, I have a renault megane 1.5 DCI with the K9K732 106BHP lump. Basically the exhaust manifold has cracked and is in need of replacing. I have ordered a new manifold off eBay and it should be here early next week,   I know exhaust manifold bolts are a PIA to remove and often shear.

When i got the car he told me that the instrument does not work and the start does not start. since i am a bit technical i started troubleshooting the vehicle. the cluster is still not displaying, the watch was not displaying but now does after i have removed engine fusebox, ecu, bsi under dash, and made sure that all fuses are not blown and also relays are still ok. what i have realized is the card reader & start button does not have power when i use my test light. the car does not start & the warning light on the instrument panel flashes all the time. sometimes the windows works somtimes they don't. the card locks some doors not all. your help will be highly appreciated.

  Hi, we have a Renault Clio 54 reg diesel that has been off road for 8 months now. It did run ok apart from it now blows white smoke out of exhaust. We were going to get this fixed recently however when we went to drive it to the garage we realised the battery had gone dead as we'd left it to long and we haven't got round to doing anything since (i know this is very silly of us).

  Hi, I currently have a problem with my Renault Clio 1.2 It is on a T plate and only done 47,000. I am having a problem where by sometimes it will fire others it won't, it will just turn over. It can take upto six times to start the car and I don't want to kill the battery.

  At the end of february i purchased a renault megane 1.4 3 door hatch from local renault dealer. The car is a 2004 on a 04 plate and has 23k on the clock. with the purchase i got a years tax, 12 months MOT, full service and 12 months warranty.

  Hi - I'm looking at buying a Renault Clio and have seen two locally - though both have issues and I'd be interested in hearing peoples thoughts... Car1: 2001 RENAULT Clio RSi 1.6 16v (£1600) It's apparently in perfect mechanical condition, but has done 109K miles.

  That car's been serviced every year at the Renault dealer where it was bought,the latest just 3000 miles ago. If I was told cambelt should be changed, I would have had it done. Any advice welcome.

  Renault traffic van not starting Hi, I am new to here so hopefully in the right place! I have a 2001 renault trafic van and it refuses to start when it's cold outside. I have had a leak back test done and the results were fine, also had new glow plugs and glow plug relay fitted.
