Hi, i have a renault scenic 1.9dci year 2002 and the car when ticking over is very uneven and shaking the whole car. i put it on the computer and it comes up with diagnostic code 70 pre heater fault.have you please any ideas.

Don't recognise the code; but the definition suggests at least one glow-plug gone - quite normal and not the problem.
If the idle is that bad, is it smoking? When did it start doing it and has it been through floods?
EGR valves are a common problem on these - but why no code? What read it?

Hi, no smoke and not in floods, new egr valve fitted 10 months ago.
also when driving at low speeds the engine is hunting (like missing) but fine at high speeds.

I'd remove and check the EGR valve, or get it read with a proper machine.
