Shell Optimax Test Results... 11 Nov 2001 (Forum)
Since 1st November I have put in standard Tesco unleaded (69.9p per litre) and have not noticed a great drop in performance, probably because the Optimax has done it's job and lined the relevant bits etc, however I am now only averaging 25 MPG having covered just over 1000 miles! I will leave everyone to make up there minds on this, but I for one will be using Optimax wherever possible. I did find it hard at times doing the mileage I cover finding a Shell station at the right time in my journey.... -

Audi A5 Sportback - Car insurance claiming for malicious damage 27 Mar 2018 (Forum)
Just wanted to find out if anyone has had experience in claiming for malicious damage on their car insurance on the forum. Unfortunately my car as well as others, were targeted in the area and severely damaged by way of scratches which are in no way possible to remove, and requires a professional paint job as the scratches are deep and also across the body of the car. -

I am new to this forum and apologise if this has been discussed before. Earlier posts have covered aspects of motability (including eligibility) but not this I believe. My nephew is disabled, cannot drive and has a motablity car. His wife is the appointed driver. They expected to be able to use the vehicle as the family car, eg. she takes the children to school, goes shopping, takes children to doctor, evening activities, seaside etc, goes to library etc. -

Esure car insurance 8 Oct 2011 (Forum)
I've read a bit on a review site about how their customer service is pretty poor and how they charge random admin fees for things but as I'd be saving £150 (after taking out separate breakdown cover ) from that point of view it's worth it. Also I don't "need" my car much so if the worst happened and they were dragging their heels then it wouldn't be a disaster. Just wondering if anyone has any experience of them or any general advice? -

service history - what a load of rubbish 11 Oct 2005 (Forum)
I've been looking at a few Audi S8s yesterday and also calling up some independent dealers. The cars are 6 or 7 years old, all have Audi stamps in the service book, but none of the cars have any previous receipts/invoices to prove that the car has been looked after. The point I'm trying to make is that if you take a car for servicing, and the dealer says "oh, you need to change your discs and your bushes and whatever else", and you just say, "naah, I will stick to the service only", you still get your service book stamped. -
