  • A Grand Monday: Honda CRX Del Sol 5 Dec 2016 (News)
In terms of its styling, it looks to be mid-engined like a Toyota MR2, but it is, in fact, front-engined and front-wheel-drive, like the Civic on which it is based. The rear conceals a moderate sized boot, and a somewhat larger luggage storage area behind the seats, accessed by tilting or sliding them forwards. It’s awkward, but it kind of works.  CRXs of both generations have a strong following on the Japanese car scene, with the later models still attainable for a relatively sensible outlay.

  • More Rust-Stored ‘60s and ‘70s Americans Found in Thailand 8 Jun 2016 (News)
Basically, they were just left in people's gardens or simply dumped in side streets to decompose.  Then at some point, P-Ploy Yont decided to save them, and built the museum-like storage facility you see here. Open-sided sheds accomodate about 130 mostly American cars, a few Europeans and a handful of trucks. This is a Hino TA14 with intact curved glass windshield and radiator grille.  So while rust has got to most of them, it isn't eating them away as rapidly as might have happened otherwise.

Working with SD1 specialists Robsport International in Hertfordshire, the body was stripped down and new metal welded in where needed before being resprayed.
