  Hi, I have a Peugeot 307 2lt Hdi XSI, before christmas I got a de-pollution system faulty fault pop up.. I had the DPF taken off and cleaned and all faults reset and about a month later the fault came back.. I was advised to take the car for a long blast and to get some Forte DPF additive to try help resolve the issues.. for 3-4 months now the fault has been coming and going, going into limp mode a couple of times, each time getting the faults reset..

  However, two garages have advised me that in order to change these parts, they would also have to change the water pump and cambelt as well. Does this sound correct? The details of my car are a Peugeot 306. N reg. It's a naturally aspirated diesel. Any help or advice would be greatly received!

  , anyway bought new boot lock, £40.00 fitted, still no joy. Garage say it must be central locking, need to go to Peugeot or get electrician to check all the wiring, £50.00 an hour, open ended. Please help, remote wont work, boot still won't open, driving me mad !!!!

  Hi to all, I'm at my wits end - I've got a 2002 Peugeot Expert van, and it's not playing ball. It drives sweet as a nut, and in my line of work, it's regularly left running for 8 -10 hours at a time, which it's fine with, but when used on a motorway run it's blowing it's coolant out of the expansion bottle over the course of the journey.

  I have a 2001X Peugeot 206 2.0 HDi which seems to have gone crazy over the last few days.  Basically all the indicators are permenantly lit, dull & not at full brightness. The rear fog light indicator on the dash is also permenantly on, again dull but when the brake pedal is pressed it gets brighter & also the milometer goes dull.

  Hello, would be grateful for an opinion. Whilst on holiday with my car a 2003 Peugeot 406 hdi 90hp, the passenger side front suspension collapsed. I had a local garage fit new coil springs & struts/shock absorbers on both sides of the car. There is now a very noticeable gap between the top of the front tyres and the wheel arch, about 4 inches on the off side & 4.5 inches on the near side of the car.

  Hi looking for some advice on my Hdi The car ran fine to the supermarket-we stopped,shopped and went back to the car and it wouldnt start at all ,called the AA man out who plugged in his scanner and it came up with 5 fault codes P3040 P112 P0380 P1404 P0230 He tried the usual hitting the tank with a hammer but that didnt work and he ended up towing it to a local peugeot specialist who looked and said it was just the connections to the camshaft sensor that he cleaned up and also the No1 injector wire aswell and charged me lots of money for doing so. the day after the battery completely died so I fitted a new one.

  I currently own a Peugeot 306 HDI Meridian, it's X reg and has done 185,00 miles. It's due for its second cambelt change soon and also needs a new speed sensor as the speedo occasionally drops to zero and stops working.

  I have a siemens NAVTAQ SAT NAV pre-installed in my Peugeot 406 This worked perfectly untill 6 months or so ago the display message read CD Missing or CD Unreadable. Having searched some internet sites, I took out the CD Box from the Boot, opened it up and wiped the Lens with alcohol.

  Sooo, I took off the filter and housing, to see what gives after undoing the middle allen bolt (the long one) it became obvious this is a pre-heating device and that allen bolt has to seal in the housing to stop fuel leaking past....got a new bolt new copper washer..fine for a while then leak again..new metal gasket..........Peugeot guy at main dealers had asked me if i had the fuel filter housing with the holes in the bottom that allows the pre-heat to work when i went for bolts......which has led me to believe that some dont have this badly desiegned pre heat system....and if so are they interchangable???

  Hi I have a Peugeot 307 2.0 HDI 110 from 2002. Problems i have are loss of power in the lower end of the revs. When the car works its excellent 2nd gear and turbo :D but when not 2nd gear or all gears to be honest sometimes just won't push the car along foot right to the floor even.

  hi all i have a peugeot 406 rapier, 2001 (y) and 1.8l. every now and again the speedo stops working, the fuel guage dies, and the whole dash will reset itself as if you turned the key on and off, and you get the oil level indicator and milage to next service on the lcd display. also get random 'brake fluid level low' caption on the radio/clock display and handbrake light flashes!!

  I have a 1998 (S-reg) Peugeot 306 cabriolet which was shunted from behind damaging the bumper & rear panel. The bodyshop have quoted £1400 to get the repairs done and they are not sure if the boot lid needs replacing as well.

  Hi, I have a Peugeot 306 1.6 LX 99 T reg. I went to start it today, it was started ok and i put the lights, wipers, rear window heat etc on, after about 6-7 seconds the front light lights flicked on and off then there was a sudden loss of power, all lights on the dash went out and the engine completely died, i tried to start it again but it just keeps turning over without firing.

  hi guys, I have a Peugeot 307 sw petrol 03 and done 92k miles, the engine mgn light came on, and on the screen it said engine antipollution system faulty, now, I have changed the entire exhaust system inc the cat but not genuine, three weeks after the light came back and the same text on the screen, the car also sounded very rough and loosing power, there is also an hissing sound coming from the engine whenever I press the accelerator, I?

  I have a Peugeot 106 that has developed a 'strange electrical problem'. What happens is all the electrics fail but I am still able to start the engine, though sometimes the engine will not stop even with the key out of the ignition.

  Following an abortive installation of a radiator to my 1997 Peugeot 306 D-Turbo [one owner from new] resulting in the bottom hose becoming detached from the radiator, with subsequent loss of coolant [no overheating at this point, stopped immediatly low coolant warning light appeared ] I summoned my recovery/breakdown service, whose operative securely refixed the bottom hose, but failed to bleed the system, resulting in an an 'emergency' stop a few miles down the road, with engine warning 'stop' light illuminated, and engine fan operating.

  Hi folks, For some time my Peugeot 306 was jumping out of 5th gear. Irritating, but a light touch on the gearstick could usually keep it in. Last time I had some work done on it, I mentioned the problem to Mr Mechanic, but he either wasn't able to do anything about it or just didn't look at it.

  Hoping someone can help me out. The engine in question is a xu10j4r as found in the 1999 peugeot 406, 2 litre 16v lump. gearbox is a be3 box as found in a 205 1.9 gti and the flywheel is that from a 405 mi16. Strange combination but all compatible with each other. I have 3 crank sensors available to me, all exactly the same part numbers etc, 1 is from my old car, 1 is from a friends car and 1 is brand spanking new.
