  • Peugeot 807 MPV (2003 - 2010) - 03 2.2 Hdi Electronic Door Problem 25 Sep 2008 (Forum)
Help I have a Peugeot 807 and the drivers side electronic rear door will not open electronically. Pressing any of the door opening buttons (key, centre consol and rear door) only opens the door a few inches & if I keep pressing the button it opens a few inches at a time - when it reaches fully open and I press the button to close it - it still tries to open more.
  • Peugeot 207 (2006 - ) - 08 1.4 HDi oil draining 18 Jul 2008 (Forum)
Hi, My wife has a 1.4 HDi Peugeot 207. I'd like to do an oil change as we bought the car new and plan to keep it a while. Problem is that I had a quick look underneath and can't locate the oil drain plug in the sump. I didn't have time to do a thorough check but I'm beginning to wonder if there's one at all.

  • Peugeot 306 (1993 - 2001) - 1994 1.9TD - smoke and loss of power 2 Jul 2008 (Forum)
Help ! My Peugeot is causing me some problems in that it is losing power, then it seems to surge and pick up again with occasional white smoke whilst moving and produces black smoke when accelerating . I know there are myriad things which can cause this problem, but are there any 'easy' steps I can take to rectify the problem BEFORE I send it a garage.
  • Peugeot 306 (1993 - 2001) - 99 1.6 MIL light on and engine jerks 1 Jul 2008 (Forum)
My '99 Peugeot ,modell XTB 1.6 , has the MIL (motor indicator light) turned on, when brought garage ,the ECU code indicated a flywheel sensor (crankshaft sensor ?) problem, after clearing code , code did not appear again, and all was ok for some weeks.
  • Peugeot 306 (1993 - 2001) - 00 2.0 HDi - Fuel Economy 9 May 2008 (Forum)
Hi All, My 306 is giving me approx. 190 miles from 20 litres of diesel with nothing but urban driving/short journeys, this equates to 42mpg. The problem is that i am getting the same mpg when i drive entirely on the motorway. Parkers/Peugeots figures state that i should be getting about 25% more when driving on the motorway. This is not a one off test, i have performed this comparison a number of times, even refuelling from an empty tank to ensure a fair test.
  • Peugeot 106 (1991 - 2002) - Tyres fitted underneath the boot 1 Mar 2008 (Forum)
While driving to this morning I saw a 57 plate Citroen C4 SX (if I remember correctly) in front of me with the tyre fitted underneath the boot of the car. I've had this in my Peugeot 106 and I'm sure there are few more cars out there with the same sorts of fitting. I just would like to know doesn't it make life very hard to remove and re-fit the tyre when you've to replace the punctured tyre when you're out and about?
  • Peugeot 106 (1991 - 2002) - 1994, 1.5D, injector codes/part number 14 Feb 2008 (Forum)
Hi All, have just got hold of four brand new injectors for my 106. They are original Peugeot/Citroen injectors, part number 1980.21 on the box. However on closer examination the injectors have the code LUCAS LDC-010R01 A GMG written on them and my current injectors have the slightly different LUCAS LDC-007R01 A DMG on them.
  • Peugeot 206 hatchback (1998 - 2006) - 05 1.4HDi - lights have gone way out of adjustment 13 Dec 2007 (Forum)
For no obvious reason, the headlight adjustment on my 2005 Peugeot 206 1.4HDI is way out, on main beam the lights give less visibility than a normal car on dip! Adjusting the the control inside the car does not improve the situation. I don't see how this can be a mechanical problem as nothing has been changed, can anyone point me in the right direction with this please?
  • Peugeot 206CC 1 Jun 2007 (Forum)
I have an opportunity to buy a Peugeot 206CC on a 52 plate with 26,000 miles for £4,500 - £5,000 from a friend. Cars with comparable miles and age are advertised for £7,000+ on the AutoTrader. The car in question has a couple of dents (lives on a street in Bath) and is an ashtray inside.
  • Peugeot 206CC '03 alarm problem 26 Mar 2007 (Forum)

  • Peugeot 306 Engine Management Light 1 Mar 2007 (Forum)
On my T plate Peugeot 306 HDI I have an intermittent problem with the engine management light appearing and the engine limiting itself to c2500rpm (turbo apparantly not working). The light will stay lit for approximately a day, but the lack of power can be cured by switching the engine off and back on again.
  • Peugeot TD or HDi 16 Feb 2007 (Forum)
I need to buy a diesel car and there are just so many choice even in my budget (£2k). Peugeot 306 or 206 sound like good buys to me. A mechanic friend has told me to get one of these because he thinks that they're fairly reliable and refined. He's told me to get TD instead of HDi but I'm not entirely convinced about it because I presumed HDi is a newer engine so it'll be better than TD.
  • Peugeot 106 Noise when moving 13 Nov 2006 (Forum)
Hi all, I have a 2002 Peugeot 106 that is making a noise when moving. The noise cuts in at about 40mph. After speaking to my usual mechanic we decided it was one of two things the OSF wheel bearing or driveshaft. Both of these items have now been replaced and the noise is still there.
  • Peugeot 206 1.1 or 1.4 1999 Cat? 2 Nov 2006 (Forum)
I need a new cat on a Peugeot 1.1 LX 1999. The websites who sell these show the model to be 90538 which I believe is manufactured by B&M. However the 90538 can come with a lambda sensor fitted after the cat for use on 1.4 (yes onepoint4) with on board diagnostic facility which requires 2 sensors, one before the cat and one after.
  • Removing gearknob Peugeot 306 30 Oct 2006 (Forum)
Peugeot 306 HDi Meridian V-reg I am having no joy with this apparently simple task. The Haynes manual says I should be able to unscrew the gearknob. I have pulled up the gaiter, but, after an almighty effort, I have managed only to get the upper part of the knob to turn.
  • Peugeot 806 your reviews please 16 Oct 2006 (Forum)
Just seen a 806, 02 reg on a forecourt for £5995 only done 23,000 miles was the local peugeot garages demo model. Done a price check on parkers and its come back at £5340 so not massively inflated, only bad point is its a automatic petrol engine, but on the other hand we dont do high enough miles to make it worth getting a diesel.
  • Peugeot 106 1.1 Starting Problems 1 Jul 2006 (Forum)
Although the diaphragm is not split it has delaminated, I don't know if this could be the cause of the fault. Peugeot tell me that the diaphragm is not supplied on its own and I need to buy the complete throttle housing. Some help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Peugeot 406 Heater Matrix 3 May 2006 (Forum)
My 1996 Peugeot 406 (no aircon) has the dreaded smell of antifreeze when the heater is on. I am guessing that the heater meatix needs to be replaced. My Haynes manual indicates that the matrix can be accessed by removing the glove box, but having spent the best part of a sunny Saturday taking the glove box out and a few other panels besides, I can't see how the matrix will ever come out without removing the entire fascia.
